Bonzai Road Rally

$110 2-Up, and $30 Novices.

The Bonzai Road Rally is a 12 hour event which is best described to those who have never tried a road rally as an oversized treasure hunt. The goal of the Rally Master it to encourage participants to ride some of the best motorcycle roads in the upper Midwest, by providing a set of of unique and interesting bonus locations (places) which they must find. At the end of the rally day, riders return to rally HQ with stories and memories. If you like motorcycle riding and would like to try a motorcycle road rally, the Bonzai would be a excellent rally to start with. Many of riders return year after year to this event.

The GLMC Bonzai Road Rally has always had great Rally Masters in the past. The GLMC community is excited to welcome Nels and Mary Gebben as our hosts and rally master for 2013. There are some large Rally Master shoes to fill here, but we are confident Nels and Mary are more then up to the challenge.

The staring and ending location of this year's rally will be the Hudson House in Hudson, WI. A block of rooms will be held for 2 nights 25th and 26th (2 nights are not required) until May 5th at the Hudson House. When you make your reservation tell the staff the is reservation for the Bonzai Rally. We currently have 20 rooms in the block, but we can have more rooms if needed. Let Nels know if they run out. Cost of rooms is $69.99 plus tax, $75.94 with tax. Most rooms are two queen beds with a parking lot view and nice access on the ground floor. They will also rope off an area for the bikes.

There will be a turkey and fixings dinner after scoring. We will be shooting for 8:30 PM with trophies presentation during or after dinner. Cash bar in the banquet room.

Riders meeting will be at 5:30 to 6:00 AM on May 26th. Rally will run from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. There will be a limit of 50 participants (bikes).
