it’s winter, and cold, and you’ll have plans for an amazing motorcycle ride on Memorial Day Weekend.
I have it on good authority that for the second year in a row, it's not going to rain :-).

Rally Description:
The Bonzai Rally is best described, to those who have never run one, as a scavenger hunt on two wheels.
The goal of the Rallymaster is to encourage participants to ride some of the best motorcycle roads in the Upper Midwest
by providing a set of unique and interesting bonus locations (places) which they must find. Each bonus location has a
point value and you can't possibly get to all of them so ... it's a puzzle.
Get to as many bonus locations as possible to collect the highest number of points within the timeframe specified and you win.
This is not a race and excessive speeding will not be not tolerated. At the end of the rally day, riders return to rally HQ with stories, memories and score sheets.
If you like motorcycle riding and would like to try a motorcycle scavenger rally, the Bonzai would be an excellent rally to start with.
Many riders return year after year to this event. Rumor has it that said Rallymaster will even remember to pick up coffee the morning of the rally.
Dates And Times:
- There is an optional rider meeting on Saturday, May 23 at 7:00 PM at the Mirage. The rally packet with bonus locations will be handed out at this meeting. GPX, KML, and TXT files will be handed out via email or a flash drive at the rider meeting. If you've never ridden a rally like this, help will be available.
- Checkin, Q & A, and Final Instructions at 6:45 AM Sunday, May 24th at the Mirage.
- Rally Start: 7:30 AM Sunday, May 24th from the Mirage.
- Rally End: 5:30 PM on Sunday, May 24 at the Mirage. If you're late it's a DNF (Did Not Finish).
Additional Details:
- Food/Drinks will be available at the Mirage for the rider meeting on Saturday, but they will not be provided by the Club.
- Grab and go breakfast items will be available on Sunday morning before the rally.
- Rider Banquet will be served at 6:15 PM on Sunday evening - Pulled Pork, Mac & Cheese, Beans and Coleslaw.
- Awards will be handed out when scoring is completed on Sunday evening.
- Rally swag will include a swag bag, a t-shirt, a few other surprises and finisher awards.
Accommodations:
- There isn't an official rally motel but there are two motels within easy walking distance of the Mirage. These are both mom and pop hotels so there aren't a lot of frills. There are many other hotels in the La Crosse area.

- The Welch Motel - 3643 Mormon Coulee Rd, La Crosse, WI 54601 - 608-788-1300
